This lesson will show you how to set up ExpressVPN MediaStreamer on Google Wifi. Before starting, make sure your Google Wifi system is fully set up. For help, see the Google Wifi setup instructions. Contents1 Set up and register your DDNS hostname2 Get your DNS server IP address3 Change Google Wifi DNS settings Set up and register your DDNS hostname If you have a dynamic IP address, this means you are assigned a different IP address each time you log into your device. Dynamic IP addresses make it difficult to use MediaStreamer and can cause problems when trying to access online services. DDNS can solve this problem. Before proceeding, make sure you have set up a static hostname using DDNS and registered the hostname with ExpressVPN. Get your DNS server IP address To set up the MediaStreamer DNS server on your Google Wifi, you need to get the ExpressVPN MediaStreamer IP addresses. Log in to your ExpressVPN account. Select Set up on more devices. Select MediaStreamer on the left side of the screen. On the right, you will find the MediaStreamer DNS server IP addresses. Keep them handy for setting up Google Wifi. Change Google Wifi DNS settings On your mobile device, go to the Google Wifi app. Tap on Labels and Settings tab. Tap on Network & General. Select Advanced Network. Go to DNS > Individual, then enter the MediaStreamer DNS server IP addresses you found above. At the top of the screen, tap SAVE. After saving the DNS settings, your Google Wifi will now use ExpressVPN DNS settings for streaming.
